What is CBD?
CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is just one of the many cannabinoids found in the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a recently discovered complex cell-signaling system. It plays a role in many functions and processes of your body including sleep, mood and appetite. Experts believe that the primary role of the endocannabinoid system is maintaining your body's homeostatis or internal environment stability.
What is the entourage effect?
The entourage effect is when multiple cannabinoids act together to have a stronger influence on the body than just one cannabinoid alone.
How much CBD should I take?
The optimal dose can vary from person to person as each person is affected differently by CBD. Start slow with a few drops twice a day and increase every few days until you reach the amount that works best for you. Read our blog post on how to start taking CBD for more info.
Will CBD make me high?
No, Lyrical Life Essentials CBD will not make you high. THC is the pyschoactive compound that gives you the feeling of being high. Our products contain less than 0.3% THC, which is not enough to make you feel high.
What is the difference between CBD oil and hemp seed oil?
Hemp seed oil does not contain any cannabinoids. It is often used as a carrier oil for CBD oil tinctures.
Is CBD legal?
The 2018 Farm Bill legalized the production of hemp and it's extracts so as long as CBD oil does not contain more than 0.3% THC, it is legal. All Lyrical Life Essentials CBD products are produced from hemp grown in the USA in accordance with section 7606 of the 2018 US Farm Bill.
Some states still have legal restrictions on CBD.
What kind of testing is performed on your products?
All Lyrical Life Essentials CBD products are regularly tested in manufacturing facilities, as well as third party independent labs to guarantee purity, potency, consistency and safety in everything we sell.
Will I fail a drug test if I take your products?
Lyrical Life Essentials CBD Drops have non-detectable amounts of THC according to our third party lab results. However, there could still be trace amounts of THC in products that do not show up on these tests but could still possibly show up on a drug test.
Our gummies and relief rub do have THC. While it is unlikely to fail a drug test from using a topical product like the rub, the gummies would not be the best choice for someone worried about drug testing.
Is it possible to take too much CBD?
While it is possible to overdose on CBD, side effects of taking large amounts could be extreme drowsiness, lethargy, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea and other unpleasant, disorienting side effects, but not death.
Are your products gluten free?
All Lyrical Life Essentials products are gluten free as well as vegan friendly.
What is broad spectrum CBD?
Broad spectrum CBD oil contains all cannabinoids naturally occuring in the hemp plant so you get the benefits of multiple cannabinoids (like CBG, CBN, etc.), in addition to CBD. After the initial extraction, it goes through a refinement process to remove the THC.
What is CBD Isolate?
CBD isolate is an extract from a hemp plant that only includes CBD and no other cannabinoids.
